Reclaim Your Greatness

Say Goodbye to Post-Sport Struggles:

Dizziness, Headaches, Brain Fog, and Mood Swings do NOT need to be your new normal

ARE YOU TIRED OF FEELING LIKE GARBAGE?

The world of brain health has come a long way.  While in the past we didn't think there was anything we could do, today we know that's simply not true!

We also know that the effects of concussions and multiple subconcussive blows over the years that went untreated can 100% impact your life later on.

Perhaps you can relate to some of the following:
  • dizziness
  • difficulty with sleep
  • headaches
  • brain fog
  • feel like your "losing yourself"
  • memory issues
  • mood issues

YES,  all of this (and more) could be stemming from your concussion history.

But instead of me trying to share the impact we can have your life ... let me introduce you to Trevor Bowles, Offensive Tackle for 8 years in the CFL, 1987 EE Grey Cup Championship Team.

Trevor Bowles' Symphony Brain Performance Clinic Journey

To make it really short:  This clinic saved my life.  It changed my life.  If you are suffering with mTBI symptoms, this may be the best gift I could ever give you, my fellow Alumni

A note to you, from Trevor:

If you're reading this, you're probably curious if you might benefit from mTBI therapy at Symphony Brain Performance. If you are suffering with mTBI symptoms, this may be the best gift I could ever give you, my fellow CFL Alumni.

I played offensive tackle for 8 years in the CFL, my last 5 with the Edmonton Eskimos.

Like most of us who played for any length of time, I suffered a few concussions and thousands of hits to the head.  It was just part of the game.

Fast forward to last year and I was struggling with:

  • brain fog
  • migraine headaches
  • blurry vision with floaters
  • light-headedness and hunger
  • fatigue
  • trouble sleeping more then a few hours at a time
  • difficulty concentrating
  • impulse control issues
  • Tinnitus (constant ringing in my ears)
  • Balance problems (I was falling every week)

A friend referred me to Symphony Brain Performance, where he'd had an incredible recovery from his brain trauma.  I was skeptical, as I had already been seen by dozens of doctors and none offered any treatment.

With constant persistence from my friend (for over a year) I finally had the motivation to seek a solution .... I had fallen again and I blew out my shoulder!

Like I said, I was skeptical.  After my first visit, I became aware that many of the symptoms I have had for as long as I can remember were actually linked back to my old mTBI's.  Symphony told me I had "Persistent Post Concussion Symptoms", something that I had never heard of from many of the neurologists I had seen.

One of the greatest shocks and benefits was learning that my light-headedness and hunger after workouts weren't a dopamine rush; it was related to my mTBI. WTF?!

Just two months of interactive therapy, my constant hunger and light-headedness were managed

I said managed, not cured.

I'm a new person.  I have never felt this clear headed before and in control of my life. I would never have believed it if I hadn't experienced it for myself.

So what was the treatment?

My therapist explains it's different for everyone based on what they find during assessment.  For me, it involved a lot of eye exercises. Yeah that's part of why I was skeptical ... how was "looking at dots" going to fix my brain ?!?

But it's way more than that.  The therapists at Symphony are both scientists and artists.  Jonathan was my therapist, and his interactive biofeedback approach pushed me just enough to get incremental benefit but always was careful not to push too hard.

I can't exaggerate enough how much Jonathan and Symphony have given me back a higher quality of life that I could have ever imagined.

I'm not cured. But I know what I need to do to manage and keep moving forward.

After 6 months:

  • I haven't had a fall and I'm confident in my balance
  • My lightheadedness and brain fog are gone (if I maintain my exercises)
  • I'm not hungry all the time and have lost 15% BMI.  I have never felt in so much control of my hunger & eating
  • My energy is way up!
  • My training is consistently going excellent
  • My impulse control is way better
  • My tinnitus is still there - this is a hard one.
  • My sleep still sucks - we're working on this one.

I can't overstate how grateful I am for the Sympony Team.  It's an ongoing process for me, and I will go back to the clinic in the fall for continued therapy.

If you can relate to my journey, I strongly encourage you to seek assistance, try Symphony Brain Performance, it could enhance your life.

Please know I'm not getting any comissions or pay for this.  I only wanted to share the best gift I could ever off to you, my CFL Alumni.   And I can't think of a better one!

I've asked the clinic owner, Natasha Wilch, to share my story and provide the opportunity for you to have a consult call with someone from the Symphony Team if this interests you and you want to learn more - she's agreed!!

Here's to us reclaiming our Greatness!

Sincerely,

Trevor Bowles

How it works:

Welcome to our Concussion Intensive Program, a unique blend of in-person and virtual support designed to accelerate your recovery from concussion. Imagine embarking on a week-long journey with us at Symphony Brain Performance, followed by three months of personalized virtual guidance.

During your intensive week, we kickstart your healing process with a thorough assessment using cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise. We delve deep into your body's various systems—like your autonomic nervous system, vestibular system, visual system, and more—to understand how they're functioning and communicating with each other. Our goal? To pinpoint the root cause of your symptoms and challenges, paving the way for targeted treatment.

Once we have a clear picture, we craft a tailored treatment plan and dive into action. Over the course of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, you'll undergo three treatment sessions per day, with mini reassessments as needed. By Friday, we'll conduct a comprehensive re-assessment, review your progress from the week, and equip you with a new home program to continue your journey.

Think of our intensive week as a significant stride forward in your path to recovery. And the best part? The changes don't stop there. With consistent dedication to your home program over the next three months, you'll continue to experience positive transformations, bringing you closer to optimal health.

Virtual Support:

Once your week with us is over, the virtual support kicks in, and it's just as crucial for your recovery journey. This is where the magic happens—we fine-tune your home program, address any queries you have, and share valuable lifestyle tips and habits to support your healing journey in a more holistic way.
